The most important point to remember about GSS is that you must submit your application within three months of your enrollment.
The annual renewal of your private or general health insurance is not only required by law, but it also saves you from paying for treatment costs in case of an unexpected health problem.
All universities in Turkey have their own health centers. At these centers, commonly referred to as MEDİKO, all students can easily have basic health checks and medical examinations. Detailed information about your college”s health center can be obtained from the relevant college departments.
Pharmacies in Turkey are open until 7:00 pm except on Sundays. After 7:00 p.m. and on Sundays, a certain number of pharmacies are on duty in each city. The emergency service centers of hospitals and college health centers provide 7/24 services for emergencies.
